Halo Solutions is helping the frontline NHS with their unique needs at a temporary mortuary at Southampton Airport.
Halo Solutions is helping the frontline NHS with their unique needs at a temporary mortuary at Southampton Airport. The company’s world-class, multi-award winning, incident management software, Halo, has been deployed to co-ordinate proceedings at the mortuary. The C3i platform which specialises in command, control, communications and intelligence is being used to log 460 funeral directors, four hospitals, coroners office, Hampshire Police, Hampshire Fire and Rescue, Hampshire Local Authority and volunteers across the county. Halo has been a pivotal part of streamlining county wide logistics to connect all the currently disconnected systems and provide central oversight at the mortuary. Using the system’s multi-agency logging mode, usually deployed for major global tournaments like the Cricket World Cup or huge events like Notting Hill Carnival, Halo provided each stakeholder with a bespoke platform for their singular use that’s integrated with the overall project to provide a central system that the main organisers can oversee. The panacea of multi-agency control room systems, currently unique to Halo. Able to be deployed rapidly and set up in less then 10 minutes, the Halo cloud based system has been the perfect solution for this large scale logistics problem.

What the client says
Luton Borough Council’s Civil Protection and Business Community Manager, Pritesh Mistry, says: “We bought Halo after seeing it in action at Luton International Carnival 2019 and at the Ashes Test match at Edgbaston last summer. We were really impressed with the various features of HALO, especially the way that all aspects of an event/incident are logged, ready for reporting post-event. We also liked the fact that we can restrict what different users can see – so that the overall picture can be maintained by the control room, and individual users are not bombarded with constant information.”

It’s a privilege joining some of the amazing innovations taking place during this crisis to help the NHS frontline, in this case, with mortuary capacity.
