Our COO Greg Horsford has officially retired as Superintendent after 30 years police service to the people of Bedfordshire.
During his career, Greg has attained both Gold (Strategic) and Silver (Tactical) Commander for Public Order, Firearms and CBRNe, as well as the coveted Multi-Agency Gold Incident Commander position.
As the Commander for Luton he served a diverse population of citizens from a broad spectrum of society as well Luton Airport and also supported the Metropolitan Police.
Greg completed an NVQ Level 4 in Spectator Safety and is currently putting the finishing touches to a Masters Degree in Security Management.
During his service, which included 17 years as a detective on various teams including the Major Crimes Unit, Greg pioneered the Crowd Tension Indicator for the use of Police Forces across the UK and taught this, amongst other policing skills, to all 27 EU Nations and Sierra Leone.
However, when asked what his greatest achievement was during his career, Greg replied “Meeting my wife Nicola, with whom I’ve started a family and had two children”
Greg is now keen to take up on his business interest in Halo Solutions as the Chief Operating Officer and will be overseeing many of our new projects and integrations for 2021 and beyond.
